Meet your photographer

Hey there! I'm Mishelle! The one behind the camera at Shelle Photo. I am a Lifestyle Newborn and Baby Milestone Photographer based in Martinsburg, West Virginia; serving the West Virginia Eastern Panhandle and Northern Virginia area. I offer Lifestyle Newborn Sessions in the comfort of your own home. All you need to provide is the baby!

I’ve loved photography since my first class, Freshman year of college over 20 years ago. I was lucky enough to have the most amazing professor that encouraged my interest and helped my passion for photography grow. We're still in touch today, and consider him a dear friend. 

Over the years, I’ve held several different positions as a photographer, but the most rewarding is my current. As an In-home Lifestyle Newborn Photographer, I’m often one of the very first people to meet the newest member of a family. It's a great honor that I don't take lightly. I absolutely love getting to snuggle these tiny babies and capture their perfectness. The newborn stage is such a special and unique time, and as cliche as it is, they really never will be this tiny again. It goes by so quickly, and I believe it's one the most important stages of your and your baby's life to have professionally photographed.

When I'm not photographing sweet babies and their families; I'm spending time with my fiance, or traveling to visit family and friends. We spend a lot of time with the in-laws in Winchester, Virginia and are loving the 30 minute drive to see them. My recent hobbies include tending to my ever growing number of plants and making my own newborn outfits for future sessions.
