I was so excited about this session, I scheduled it for my birthday! Normally you dread working on your birthday, but when you love what you do, it’s a treat.
I’ve been connected with this momma for a while before her newest love arrived, and already knew about her love of plants. I was thrilled when she agreed to the idea of using some of her plants as props for her newborn session. And since sessions are done in the comfort of the client’s home, grabbing multiple plants wasn’t an issue at all.
We did family and sibling photos first, so every one could relax for the rest of the session. Older sister had picked a few pink roses she really wanted me to use for the session, so I made sure to include them just for her. I’ve been waiting for an older sibling old enough to old baby on their knees, and this sweet girl did not disappoint. We may have had to use a few tactics to encourage her, but that’s life working with a 4 year old. What ever it takes!
I absolutely loved this session and that I was able to spend my birthday with such a sweet and loving family. Mom said she felt like she already knew me and it was a breeze working with me.
